Katie Blant -The founders story
White Doves Consultancy raises awareness and educates professionals on trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), epigenetics, and contextual safeguarding, promoting trauma-informed practice and social justice across sectors.
Founded by a student of Forensic Psychology and MA Criminology & Social Justice, with a special interest in epigenetics and justice reform, White Doves combines lived experience, academic research, and frontline insight to inspire meaningful change. As a campaigner for legislative reform, the founder advocates for fairer systems, ethical practice, and the prevention of miscarriages of justice.
A disabled mother of three teenagers with lived experience of domestic abuse, she brings empathy, credibility, and depth to every engagement — from supporting frontline professionals to advising senior leaders. Recently appointed Vice Chair of the North Somerset Fostering Panel, she continues to influence safeguarding practice and decision-making at a strategic level.
